WORLD MISSION SUNDAY

10.18.2026

One in Christ,
United in Mission

In his message for this World Mission Sunday on October 18th, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that the Church’s mission is rooted in unity with Christ and communion with one another. When believers live reconciled and centered on Christ, they become a powerful witness of the Gospel. This unity strengthens the Church’s ability to evangelize and invites all people to encounter Jesus and his saving love.

Mission belongs to the entire Church. Every baptized person is called to share God’s love through prayer, generosity, and witness. Inspired by the dedication of missionaries around the world, we continue working together so that the message of Christ may reach every community, especially those most in need.
